I've just completed my 2009 travels through Europe. London was spectacular. It was a lot of fun to play tourist and visit all of the historical sites. It was a blast to operate as G/N6PSE.

I love to travel and visit foreign lands. When time allows, I like to operate HF as "the DX".
I visited the Saigon Museum of "The Victory over the Americans". I'm standing next to a captured American tank. Do you think they would miss it if I took it back?
I visited a Vietnamese temple that was built in 800AD. I was amazed at how friendly, gracious and warm the Vietnamese people were to me. I plan to return soon and operate HF from Vietnam/Cambodia or Laos.
This year, I visited Turkey. Here I am at the ancient city of Ephesus.
N6PSE visits Egypt 2008
We enjoyed an amazing visit to Egypt. We were under very tight security during our tour of Egypt. Armed guards/police with AK-47's are everywhere. The people were friendly but seeking US dollars in any way possible. We had fun, got to see the historical sites, Egyptian Museum etc. It is very hot there in July.
I hope to return to visit El Alamein and operate on HF as the DX in the future.
This year I was invited to visit the "Mighty Mo" in Pearl Harbor and be a guest operator. Take a look at the massive vertical antenna on her bow.
This is the "business end" of the Mighty Mo. 
The high point of the visit was to operate from the radio room down in the bowels of the ship. "This is KH6BB calling CQ CQ" Instant pile up on 20 meters!
Between the buildings and above the massive stone wall is the broadcast antenna at the Vatican City radio station in Rome.
I found the noise floor in Rome to be a solid S9 around the clock.
This is a massive Log Periodic antenna on a Government building in Athens.
